When the time had fully come God, the Father, sent us His Son. In a stable God's Lamb lay In a manger on the hay. For to whom was this revealed But to shepherds tending their sheep. With great joy they found God's Lamb Wrapped in swaddling clothes, asleep. Isaac said to Abraham, "Here's the wood, but where is the lamb?" "Son, God Himself will provide." Crowned with thorns, God's Lamb would die. God's Passover Lamb was slain, Bearing our sins, suff'ring our shame. Rais'd in power from the dead, Christ has crushed the serpent's head! Each has turned to his own way. All we like sheep have gone astray. Seek the Shepherd! Come to Him! He will wash away your sin. |
